Working at Height’s History
Through the years our story has changed alot, but one this has never changed Quality of Service. Working at Height has been privileged and trusted to work on some of the worlds iconic structrus in the EU, UK and the USA, and also some tough jobs. Health, Safety, Emergency Prepparedness and Techniciel Rescue has been at the forefront of our continued success.
Working at Height Limited is partnering with Global Energy Skills as a strategic training provider for all their clients. Working at Height Limited is now a Supplier of Access and Rescue Equipment into the UK Market from its new uk location. The Alliance Group welcomes 1 new member. May 2024 through Discussions Working at Height Limited welcomed 4 new members into its newly formed Alliance Group. Working at Height Limited opens a new devision called the Alliance Group. Alliance Group is a group of like minded training companys who have formed a strategic Alliance for business. The Allinance Group member’s are form all industrys of Health, Safety, Emergency & Rescue back grounds working in all sectors. As Working at Height LLC closes its doors in the USA, Working at Height Limited opens in Tronto Canada as the Working at Height Group. The Directors of Working at Height Limited made the descision to close Working at Height LLC USA Permanently and move all operations to Canada under the Working at Height Group brand. The Termination was compleated on the 8th May 2023. In Febuary 2020 Working at Height LLC Shut down its USA operation due to covid 19 pandemic. Working at Height LLC becomes the exclusive GWO Trainer for EON USA in a partnership with Safety Technology Limited USA. Working At Height LLC enters into an contract to provide Wind Energy Instructors for ENSA North America teaching their GWO Programs and B3 Programs. Working at Height became a registered entity as Working at Height LLC as the company expanded to the USA Market offering Training services. Working at Height became a Registered entity as Working at Height Limited as the company transitioned to a more training and less contracting business. Due to the shape and very few anchorpoints this was a challinging job but compleatly within th remit of the Working at Height crew. Working at Height opearted in Rope Access operations at the Skywalk located at the Grand Canyon West in Arizona. The Purpose of the operation was to clean the glass underneath where people walk. The operation elevation was 1,160ft (350m) form the canyon Working at Height Had installed safety netting and debris netting at 70 meters up inside the plant at the Tarbert Powerplant owned by SSE in county Kerry. This made it possable for roofers to safely take off the old roof and replaceit, this eleminated the risk roof worker’s falling to Working at Height Launched its first training and equipment website. The Business was Changed to a limited company A & S McMahon Communications Limited Incorperated on 23 Jan 2009 and Working at Height was registered as a trade name. Working at Height became the first member in the Irish and UK Market to join Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT). Working at Height introdused its first training course for the commercial market – Roof Top Safety The Business moved into 3G Newwork building for various communications companys working nationwide. The Business progressed into Licensed point to point links in the corperate communications sector. Compleating works for Digiweb, Obelisk, RTE Networks & Irish Broadband. Adrian Mc Mahon Registered as a sole trader with the name Working at Height, offering Business 2 Business Services as a contractor. Operating Access and Rescue in hard to reach operations. Working on Tower, Commercial Building’s, Listed Buildings, Tall & Wide Structurs.
