Basic work at height Training.

Basic course provides all the knowledge and skills required to allow a person to work safely in wind turbines.

Other content includes:
– Fetac approved Emergency First Aid at Work
– Manual Handling considerations
– Wind Turbine Lifting Hoist Operations including the basics for operating and using an internal hoist / crane.

Further content covered includes the elements of a Safe System of Work, equipment selection and inspection, use of tools, emergency procedures, risk assessments and method statements.

Practical height skills training includes rescue and evacuation of self and others using industry standard equipment.

Provides sufficient knowledge to allow a person to access and work safely in wind turbines.

Hub Rescue & Access.

Comprehensive course wind turbine working at height training course for persons who are required to access and work on wind turbine generators.

Provides sufficient knowledge to allow a person to work safely in wind turbines.

This work at height training course for wind turbine operators includes the elements of a safe system of work, equipment selection and inspection, use of tools, risk assessment, method statements and emergency procedures. Evacuation and rescue using industry standard equipment are practiced at height.

Includes the Foundation for Work at Height syllabus.
