Unemployed

If you are unemployed and seeking work, you may be eligible for funding from the Department of Social Protection to cover all, or some of the costs of your training. (means depending, you may be entitled to up to €1000).

Candidates who wish to avail of this must make an appointment with a case officer in their local Intreo office, discuss their case & apply for funding. The candidate will receive a funding application form which they must sign & bring/post to us. Upon completion, we will send this back to the case officer who will then review the funding application.

Upon receiving funding approval in the post from the Department of Social Protection, candidates must then call us to reserve a place on our course. We cannot confirm a place on our course until funding approval is gained.

You can apply for the grant through a case officer at your local Intreo Centre or Social Welfare Branch Office. Employed

If employed within the private sector or are a sole trader, there may also be funding assistance available through Skillnet funding. Skillnet may fund a percentage of your training, if eligible. For more details on this, please contact us on 074 91 27786.

Funding for training can be availed of through candidates’ local enterprise partnerships and through a range of support which are developed through schools and colleges’ careers services to educate school leavers and those in education that they may be applicable for places in this training.

Those who are unemployed will be able to access information on government training schemes through their local Jobs and Benefits Office which will have information on all eligible schemes.

From September 2021 Working at Height Ltd will Kick off our “Back to Work Program” that is 75% Funded by you the public and 25% by Working at Height Ltd.

Working at Height Ltd is committed to helping the less fortunate of this world, We do this by completely Training them up, Finding them a Placement and putting them back into the work force for free. Working at Height will use all money raised to Train any person and put them back to work. The average cost per person for this program is €8,000.00 for funding. Working at height will fund 25% of this program for free the rest coms from Client & Local Donations form people who want to give what you can and help worlds our Greatest Asset “The People” who make the work keep turning.

• Place them in our Bespoke Training Center for 2 Months.
• Supply FREE Food and Board for the period of this time.
• Train them to be able to work in Renewable Energy Sector.
• Find them a Placement.
