The Fire Safety Training Course is designed to raise awareness of fire hazards in the workplace and how to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation, including selecting and using the correct fire extinguisher. The course is also designed to train staff in your fire safety procedures.
The Fire training course is a 5 hour course. It covers a range of topics in order to give the learner confidence to risk assess fire safety tasks, and perform, said tasks within their workplace.
Who Should Attend:
This course is intended for people who wish to receive the theory and practical skills required for correct Fire Safety.
Course Topics Include:
On completion of this Fire Safety & Marshal Course learners will be able to:
- Explain what fire is
- Explain Fire Safety legal requirements
- Explain Employer responsibilities in relation to fire safety
- Explain the Fire Triangle
- Identify fire hazards
- Explain fire procedures
- Compare and contrast the different types of Fire Extinguishers
- Demonstrate the correct use of Fire Extinguishers
- Outline the roles of a Fire Marshal/ Fire Warden

Course duration: This course is half day in duration.
Certification and Accreditation: On successful completion of this Fire Safety & Marshal Course candidates will receive a Fire Safety & Marshal certificate valid for three years.

(USA) United States of America – OSHA 1926.24 Subpart C, 1926.150, 151, 152, 153 & NFPA 10
Note:
Students must be medically and physically fit to do Fire Safety.
All training programs are structured upon a pass or fail determination criteria and are in accordance with Fire Safety Criteria for accepted practices in safety, health, and environmental training and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
