The aim of this Manual Handling course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to effectively design and deliver manual handling instruction in the workplace.
Who Should Attend:
Anyone who is required to preform a manual handling tack in the workplace.

Objectives / On completion of the course the participant will be able to
- Carry out a Manual Handling Risk Assessment.
- Perform the correct steps of safe Manual Handling.
- Perform specific Manual Handling tasks competently to a recognised standard.
- Identify ergonomic factors associated with their work activities.

- Manual Handling Risk Assessment

- Learning training in T.I.L.E. (Task, Individual, Load, Environment)
- Review of practical’s; Lifting, Lowering, Pushing, Pulling & Moving of a Load
- Principles of safe Manual Handling
Course Location:
The theory part of our manual handling course will be delivered through our Manual Handling Course online our IMS-Flex. The practical element is completed and assessed through Zoom by our Level 6 Manual Handling Instructors.
Course Cost:
The cost of this manual handling course is € 80, ₤ 70 or $90 PP
Course Certification:
On successful completion of this course learners will receive a Manual Handling Certificate of Competency from Working at Height Limited.
Certification Duration:
Certificate is electronic and valid for 3 years; it contains a unique Customer Number ensuring full traceability and verification.

Evaluation
Participants are required to complete a short multiple-choice assessment after the theory training.
Participants are required to complete practical lifting demonstration via Zoom or Google Meets with a working at Height Instructor for Skills Verification.
All demonstrations will be completed as per Working at Height Limited Remote Skills Verification (RSV) Policy and Procedures or In-person Classroom demonstration.
